Pollo Centro - Haverhill

Will not be going back here. I tried to call in an order for pick up and was told they were too busy. I live down the street so I drove down the street in less than 2 minutes and no one was in there the place was empty. The woman behind the counter was just rude bad attitude and service. It's too bad too with them being so close I would of went back the food was decent.

The food is great! The cashiers are great there are certain staff that are rude talking to the customers because the look stressed out. For example: i order rice and beans an i asked to see how big the containers are so i can determine if it would be enough for my party, but the person that asked me how be only said ‘ it would be enough for 2 people and walked around ignoring me while she chew a chicken.Like i obviously don’t eat like her and I see the containers everyday but is that professionalism that could improve the experience of a client.

First time I called they hang up, I called again they told me it’s ready for pickup now. When I get there I told them I order over the phone and my order should be ready which my order was not ready). The cashier started yelling to her coworker to cut the chicken the next time she won’t take my order. This person is completely out of line and unprofessional I only had a few minutes to go and pick up my food so I had to leave. I would never order from this place again!!!!!!

Don't read these 4 stars as bad, fried chicken has become THE competitive fast food market of the last few years.Stopped there on the way home about 8:30pm. Had no idea if it would be good.So my first problem was the side dishes were not for me. Not a big plantine fan, and there was limited alternative choices. That may be because it was closing in 30 minutes, or not, but plantine was my first (and really only) issueThere were several ways to have your chicken, so I chose to be surprised, and that I was. What looked a bit dry and left sitting long turned out to be an effect of the cooking method, so I tossed the dryness thought aside grabbed a piece and took a bite. It was superb!It was incredibly juicy, tasty, tender. It reminded me of what I would find in the Caribbean without the spice and heat.Over all, I wish there was more choice of sides but I'd go for nothing but chicken and love it alsoWell I shoulda known it would be some of the most tasty chicken I'd had from a fast food place.
