It was tasty, but Chipotle, if you're reading this, please consider lowering your prices! I spent over $20 for a salad that wasn’t very big.
I asked for a salad bowl, but they were out of lettuce, grilled onions, and peppers. The grill area was filthy, which probably contributed to my burnt steak. The young man working the grill even had his hands in his pants! The trash cans were overflowing, and there was litter scattered on the floor outside the eating area. It was obvious that they didn't care about maintaining the restaurant. The manager was in the back goofing around with the staff, which reflected a lack of respect from the employees. It seemed like he was trying too hard to be liked rather than maintaining order. I've honestly never experienced anything like this. We ended up leaving without ordering my wife's food and went to Moe's down the road. What a difference! We were welcomed in a clean environment. Even though they were out of chicken, the young employee apologized and said it would only take a few minutes and that it was worth the wait. That’s what good leadership can achieve. I’m fed up with this Chipotle location. If the owner cares about their business at all, they need to step in, provide guidance, and hire a new manager because the current one just isn’t doing the job. The impact of COVID lockdowns has certainly affected service standards, and it feels like many people no longer care. In retail, it has become common for workers to act like they're doing customers a favor. I won't be spending my money at places like this again. Businesses either improve or risk going under if the community collectively decides to boycott them. I'll give this place another chance in a few months, but if the atmosphere is anything like it was last night, I won’t hesitate to walk right back out. In fact, I'll just drive to the one in Media instead. This location should consider transitioning into a Chick-fil-A. Consumer choices carry more weight than votes in an election, and luckily, this is Havertown, where people are educated and too busy for nonsense. If this were in Philly, things would be much worse. I'm done with this place.
Each time I place an online order at this location, I find that ingredients are missing from my bowls. I ordered two bowls with extra fajita veggies, but neither had any included. If you're out of an item, please consider marking it as unavailable or informing me when I come to pick up my order!
Bad day for Chipotle! When the door says online orders only ?? you 'd better stay away since that probably means there is only 1 person working all by themselves! Husband and I went there for takeout Saturday 7/30 around the dinnertime rush and found the sign on the door. I didn 't mind ordering online, and I had to pay online too. First, we had to wait 10 minutes past our promised time, which was expected since there was only ONE GIRL making everyone 's order (6 other people were also in there waiting). Was she the manager? Why was she all by herself!? Second, the food. I got a steak bowl and husband got a steak burrito. They both had white rice when we ordered brown. I didn 't get my extra cheese or mild tomato like I ordered. Husband 's burrito hardly had any steak, and it was cold and hard like it was old. Disappointed in my meal tonight, Chipotle.
Ordered a chicken bowl and it was drenched in sour cream and salsa. Barely had any rice or chicken, this is ridiculous. I understand them being short staffed but no way my bowl should have this much sour cream. Never go to this chipotle, 2nd time I have order issues with them
