Taste Of Italy By The Lake - Hawkins

Don't let the outside fool you! Much nicer and cozier on the inside with a lovely lake view and large outdoor deck with seating. We had the house special which was stuffed flounder and it was superb. I also had the house-made vinaigrette on my salad and it was delicious as well. My daughter's lasagna looked and tasted delicious and my other daughter just wanted fried shrimp; they were large, butterfly cut Gulf shrimp and were cooked and seasoned just right. Excellent dining experience!

My husband and I met some friends for dinner and had a great time. The restaurant is right next to Lake Hawkins with an outside dining area and inside live entertainment. Brittany was our server, she was very nice, attentive and professional. The food was brought to us hot and delicious. I highly recommend eating here! I know we will again!

It's off the beaten path, but well worth the trek. The food is authentic and the views are spectacular. Wish is wasn't so hot out, or we would have dined out on the deck overlooking the lake. Service was first rate and we were welcomed in as soon as we came in. We had the Veal Parmesan, house salad, with fresh dinner rolls. Definitely bring your appetite.

Fab views while dining. We ordered Mussels Posillpo with Garlic Oil for an appetizer and WOWSERS we dipped our complimentary garlic knots in the yummy garlic butter. Deliciousness! For dinner, we had Fettuccini Carbonara and Chicken Florentine. Portions we huge. Service was happy and friendly. BYOB.
