Beautiful Brewery. The food was fantastic. We had chili. Awesome. Every beer we had was great. We especially loved the pumpkin beer with brown sugar on the rim. We are definitely coming back!!!
Visited 10/15/23 about 3:30 pmNot my cup of tea. As some other reviews mentioned, the ordering system/ service model is odd unnecessarily complicated and requiring the customer to do an absurd amount of work. First off, when the hostess seats you, you are required to give them a credit card in order to start a tab. Then you have to order food at one counter and order drinks at another counter at the other end of restaurant. On top of that, you have to memorize your table number and give it to them when you order (as opposed to other systems where they might give you a number to take to your table). The system is very off putting. I am surprised anyone goes back a second time just because of that. The system just seems inherently inhospitable.I chose this establishment because, although I 'm not a big drinker, I enjoy trying local craft beers when I travel, especially during pumpkin ale/octoberfest season. I didn 't end up ordering any beer because I found the system alienating and I didn 't feel like walking to the other end of the restaurant. There were further complications with my order. I was sitting in the so called ledge seating area along the windows, intended for solo diners or smaller parties. I correctly told the counter staff that I was sitting at Ledge 4. For some reason, he assumed I meant that I was with the larger party at the nearby Table 40. I didn 't recognize exactly what was going on at that moment or anticipate how much the mistake might impact my experience. The mistake delayed the arrival of my food and perhaps factored in to my soup arriving at the same time as my entree. The temperature was lacking to begin with and continued to deteriorate since it all arrived at once yet could only be eaten one item at a time. The items I ordered a squash beer cheese soup and a Korean Black Bean burger sounded interesting and tasty, but neither turned out to be notably flavorful. I ate my fries last and they tasted mostly of grease and salt. When I walked back to the counter to pay for my food, it became clear that my food had been added to the tab of Table 40 and there was an additional delay to create a separate bill for me. It wasn 't that big of a delay, but, if you 're a business representative, you should always offer an apology for mistakes and delays, and no apology was offered.Something I also feel strongly about is that a business representative should always thank the patron for their business. The cashier merely gave me a thumbs up and a you 're good to go. The hostess also did not offer a Thank you as I walked out.I would agree with some of the reviewers who commented that the food seems overpriced for the quality. And also, given that you have to walk all over the restaurant to order your food and beverages and that, on the whole, the restaurant does not give a strong impression of wanting to serve you, it is a bit of a shock that the tip screen suggests tip options of 18 25%.Not that likely that I will be back in the area anyway, but I definitely would look for another option if I were.
Beautiful brewery! All around delicious food. I had the seafood rolls and crabby fries and was not disappointed. Must try their pumpkin ale if you're around in the fall. They put a cinnamon sugar rim on the glass which makes it absolutely amazing.
It's a lovely place with good food and nice menu variety. But please, please....your live music. You can't hear yourself think. It echos through the dining area, almost physically painful! Just turn it down a notch so people can actually appreciate it.
