Bella Fig - Hawthorne

We decided to try a new restaurant since the quality of our previous favorites has declined since COVID. We made reservations for four but were initially concerned to find the place almost empty upon arrival. However, it turned out to be a delightful surprise. Our waiter was excellent—very attentive and friendly. The food was tasty, and we especially enjoyed the dessert selection. Being a BYOB establishment was a nice bonus. They do have outdoor seating, but we chose to sit inside. I truly hope more people give this place a chance; we definitely plan to return, which we haven’t felt about any restaurant since the pandemic began. If I could suggest one thing, we personally prefer dining with a tablecloth, as it adds warmth and creates a more inviting atmosphere. I hope they consider this.

We had to wait a bit for someone to greet us and show us to our table, but after that, the service was excellent. The outdoor dining area is lovely, offering plenty of space between tables. The food was outstanding, and the highlight of the evening was the osso bucco rice balls. The truffled cream sauce was so delicious that we all wished we could lick the plates clean. We will definitely be returning!

This isn’t a complaint about the restaurant itself, but rather about Open Table. We made a reservation through Open Table, received a confirmation, and arrived at the restaurant on time, only to find out that the restaurant is temporarily closed.

Tent had blown away in a previous storm so the ambiance took a hit, but Chris our server was great, the food was top notch and the price was very fair.

Great attentive service ..... limited but different menu. Give it a try!!
