Cafe Cuba Cakes - Hawthorne

One of the best places I've discovered on the West Coast! Here, you feel like part of a coffee-loving family. The pastries, toast with butter, and stuffed potato croquettes are absolutely amazing—there's no need to go on! It reminds me of being back in Miami. The homemade taste is fantastic, unlike anything from Porto’s. This place is truly the best, hands down!

The baked goods aren't the only highlights here; you should definitely try the chicken soup and Carne con papas. The ambiance is excellent as well. I really love this place!

We just found Cafe Cuba driving by the other night. We went in this morning for breakfast and we'll be coming back a LOT. Forget driving to Porto's!! The pastelitos de guayaba are DELICIOUS! The cafe con leche is just like in New Jersey, the croquetas are really good, even the pan con mantequilla is great! And I LOVE the ambience! Found my new favorite place in Hawthorne!!!
