Claimed he was in an accident the night of the event and could not deliver food. After a month of contacting him, he still has not refunded our school the money he took.
This place is a joke. Please do not waste your time seriously. The phone number on the website it an IPhone number first of all. I called and instantly I was told “unfortunately we don’t have any gumbo or jambalaya but I can text you the other location’s number and you can call them” so like weird having a business text you but ok lol. I called the number that was sent to me and they swear they couldn’t hear me so I hung up and dialed again, I told them I wanted to get my food delivered since the website advertises free delivery. What they don’t tell you is there is a $50 minimum within a 5 mile radius. The lady on the phone said “okay what would you like to order?” I told her and she instantly stopped me and said “we don’t have any gumbo or jambalaya” what a joke right? Lol. So I asked her what are they selling since they don’t have those two items. The lady proceeds to say they have the seafood boil available and I instantly laughed because correct me if I’m wrong. Isn’t it just Shrimp, sausage, sometimes chicken and rice in both of those dishes? So How do you have the the boil but not those two dishes. Moral of the story don’t waste your time.
This is a small place next to a small parking lot. So I was there on a rainy late Saturday afternoon and got right up to the order window.I had the fish and shrimp combo with cabbage and red beans rice. The fish was fairly thickly and crunchy-battered cooked just right. The shrimp were quite large for a combo plate... this place isn't cheap, but they have it all down to a Cajun science.Food: 5* (Delicious to an item)Service: 5* (Delivered to my car)Looks like I'll be returning here!
When I pulled up, from the looks of it, definitely not what I expected. But looks can be deceiving!!The girl who took our order was very personable and friendly. The food was delicious. Wish the portion sizes were a tad bigger but overall everything tasted like traditional Cajun style food. Very tasty and not over fried at all. The seafood gumbo was AMAZING!!!
Food was so fresh and so yummy. The hush puppies were my favorite side dish. I got the 3 piece fish and the 4 piece shrimp. Family owned business.
