Contribuisci feedbackWas stopped in Hawthorne for work and decided to try this place out. It started with our drinks. My wife and I ordered margaritas and was asked what kind of tequila we would like? We ask what do you have for silver and get told all the have for silver was Bacardi. Now the waitress was pretty young so we just kinda laughed it off and told her that 's rum. Then the 3 of us ordered appetizers to share. Quesadilla was OK the nachos were horrible. They came out with blobs of canned nacho cheese that they didn 't heat up and was cold to the touch. Told the waitress about it and all we get is a hmmmm I 'm sorry and she walks off. Had another gal come to take our plates away and asked how everything was we tell her about our nachos and she says hmmm did you tell your waitress then walks away. We will not be back and would not recommend to anyone. Just save your time and money and just keep traveling through. 3 bad apps served on paper plates and 3 drinks was $74.
Here we are in the inner city of hawthorne, nw and stopped at joe’s tavern for dinner. saw outside because we had the dog with us. our waitress, samatha, brought him water when she brought our drinks. had a half cobb amazing salate, and the fish and chips. very nice dinner and great service. and max the dog met some really nice people. highly recommended!
Nice selection of beers. Had the beef salad and it was pretty good. I ordered cheese sticks that never came. UPDATE: Came again to Joe's, they immediately gave a sincere apology for my cheese sticks (no worries though). Had the wings naked with sauce on the side (Nitro and Sirachayaki) and they were pretty good.
Honestly? In the 9 months since I've left this review you guys have earned 5 stars. You have some amazing waiters and waitresses, everybody's super friendly and the food's great, if a little expensive, but with everything going on right now that's perfectly understandable. Overall definite 5 stars. You guys are awesome!
Great bar tenders. Emily and Adam helped us and were very tentative. The food can be great and filling, depending on who’s on. The gentleman who use to cook out next to the bar and sometimes in the back made everything perfect and presented like he cared about the quality. Didn’t catch his name but he was a bigger dude with a hat on most of the time. He was honestly great. No doubt undervalued.
