Like a truck driver we don't get many good places to stop dinner, but this place is great location and the carvery is always amazing. the only thing I ask her to resist some days the veg choices are delicious honey roasted carrots and some days simple dry chopped carrots. if they are a fan of mint sauce, the mined new kartoffels for dying! the small young guy on the carvery and the lad with the cap are chatty and always ready to help. would be recommending
Good service overall, eating was delicious. definitiw good for families or parties. they have a frying/living station where they can get their sunday bread food, so that's good.
Four, sometimes eight of us as friends visit here twice the week most weeks. the only thing we find is that the nice thing is a little gum-like. personal and management are exceptional, very sensitive and helpful. never had to complain about eating or service. we have in the regular carvery, okay, it's not to everyone's lust, but we all enjoy it. thanks to all the staff and management at lymewood haydock.
So we wait 50 minutes for 2 meals to arrive one being a kids pizza and one being a mixed grill I go and get a carvery. Notice theres more fat and grissle on the meat than actual meat.. I take it back and order Nachos (with just melted cheese on nothing else) and a garlic bread with cheese 15minutes later they both come only to find the nachos come with melted cheese..guacamole salsa and sour cream???????? So he takes them back and get them done again came back as I requested the first time, Off we go to get my sons ice cream which came with his tea only to find out they can only serve chocolate ice cream ???????????? I was sat looking at my garlic bread nachos thinking we should of gone somewhere else!!!
