Valentino's New York Style Pizzeria

Oh. My. Golly. The lasagna is the best I?ve ever had. It tasted so fresh. I?m not sure how lasagna can be so filling but also so light and not roll me out of the restaurant heavy. It was also a great deal at $12. Easily enough for two meals.

I was impressed with the variety and customer service here. There was a small mistake in my order and instead of telling me that they will just discount it, they quickly fixed it with a smile. This impressed me more than anything. Customer service appears to be a lost art. I'm new to the area and they have gained my business. The food is also great.

Valentino's is a typical NY pizza joint. I tried a slice of cheese. It was good. The crust was thin with a good mix of chewy and crunchy. You have to try the pepperoni pinwheels. They were amazing! These are soft, cheesy, gooey goodness! We liked them so much we went back the next day for more. The marinara and ranch were solid too. They have a good variety of pizza,salads and rolls. Definitely will go back. My only complaint was they used a microwave to help warm up the foodprior to putting it into the pizza oven.

They should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves! This is ABSOLUTELY NOT what I would call an Italian sub with ?the works?! Dry as a bone and barely any tomato or lettuce on it. As soon as I walked in, I should have left just as fast. The owner (I believe) was very stand- offish and could have cared less about the customers walking into this restaurant. What a shame! Wouldn?t recommend to anyone!

I stopped in here for a late lunch after an appointment and I was pleasantly surprised. This pizzeria offers a large variety of pizzas and their building is so clean. I wasn't expecting much because the prices were very affordable, dare I say, cheap. I quickly noticed upon my 1st bite that the ingredients used were high quality! The sauce was fantastic and they use fresh ingredients for their toppings. They offer a large variety of thin and thick crust pizzas, subs, andcalzones as well as offer a wide variety of drinks. This reminds me of a pizzeria that I used to take my children and their ball team to for the end of the season pizza party. I've learned over the years that it's hard to find restaurantsthat serves such quality at a very affordable price. This place is definitely a fantastic find and is a well hidden gem of haymarket.
