J & D Gourmet Food Bar - Haymarket

One plate half covered with smoked salmon with the other half having two pieces of toast with two fried eggs for $10 and a large cappuccino for $3.50 is excellent value. The food was delicious , the coffee hot and the service quick. They take Visa card without surcharge. If there was a 4.5 star category this place would be in it. The only very slight quibble we had was the knives were blunt and struggled to cut the toast.

$5 beer, wine, cocktails and sides (which are large) on Monday's from 5-7 (or 6:55, depending on who you ask).

The security guards are the first people you meet before you go in.

This is a good place to get a good burger and beer. There were several type of burgers to choose from as well as beer.
