California Gyro Pizza - Hayward

Ordered a pizza. 5 toppings and extra sauce on pizza. I received a pizza with 2 toppings and barely any sauce. I should have checked it before I left, had to drive all the way back. The kids did remake the pizza and throw in pretzel knots (which Ididn't want) so good on them for trying g to right the wrongs but, I've gotten bad service there before. It seems to be amanagement problem. If the employees were managed better, there would be better service.

I ordered takeout online for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how easy the process was. My pizza was ready in just 10-15 minutes. The house salad was large enough to share with my husband. The BBQ wings were amazing—perfectly cooked and juicy, not dry at all. I placed my order and then left the house, and it was ready when I arrived. It was quick and efficient, exactly what you want when you're extremely hungry.

The restaurant has changed from CA Gyro Pizza to a new spot called Just Potato Salad. They serve delicious Southern-style BBQ, seafood, and sandwiches! Although they are relatively new, I’ve already tried everything on the menu! The CA Gyro place was also a great dining option. The owners were really friendly, and the food was well-seasoned. It’s a shame they closed down.

I would give this place zero stars if possible. I've ordered from here several times, and each time my delivery experience has been frustrating due to the driver not following the instructions I provided. Getting my food has always been a hassle. When my wife called the restaurant to complain about the driver’s inability to follow simple, turn-by-turn directions, he was extremely rude. I will not be ordering from here again.
