Deerfoot Lodge Resort - Hayward

Stayed in the lodge and it was very clean and well stocked. The mini kitchen is all you need for food prep especially for hungry anglers on the go. They also furnish a full size weber charcoal grill which makes grilling lakeside a pleasure. The beds arecomfortable and the view spectacular. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Will definitely return to fish the big chipagain! Oh, and the fishing boat was extremely reliable and well equipped with graph and trolling motor.

Excellent staff, clean and comfortable and the best burgers around. The view out of my motel unit to the lake was amazing, breathtaking sunsets.

Deerfoot held there 5th year for woman's musky school. Such a great place with great staff,food,and lodging. Check it out you will not be disappointed!

We greatly enjoyed our weeks stay at Deerfoot. We stayed in one of the motel units, which served our needs well. We found the entire property to be clean and efficient. The staff was approachable, available and friendly. And the bartenders in the lodgewere extremely friendly and helpful. Plus our food was cooked to order and tasted great. The live music on two afternoons wasan unexpected welcome bonus.
