Kansai Hayward

I had a California roll hand roll, and it was incredibly delicious! I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10 and definitely recommend it. (Just a note: the fries were my own addition, lol!)

Kansai is such a great addition to Hayward. Not too many great sushi spot in the area. But this place is absolutely good. The server here is nice and quick with your orders. They have happy hours as well. You can't beat that!

I ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, Dragon Roll, and Go Go Roll through DoorDash. They were delivered in plastic containers adorned with plastic grass, which felt unnecessary. The Spicy Tuna Roll tasted far from fresh; I could only manage to eat two pieces. The Spicy Salmon Roll was flavorful, but it was overly moist and fell apart easily. This wasn't the dining experience I had hoped for. The Dragon Roll was my favorite; it was the tastiest option! Although it turned out to be just a California Roll with unagi, so it’s hard to go wrong with that. Unfortunately, the Go Go Roll was the worst of all. The raw tuna and salmon lacked freshness as well, and I could only bring myself to eat one piece. Overall, this place was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Huge and beautiful bento box. I shared it with my friend and we both got super full. The teriyaki sauce was so tasty and my biggest surprise was the gyoza big and crunchy, unlike other places. Danmuji (radish) was a nice touch. Pick up was quick and staff was nice. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience with the bento box, which was impressively large and beautifully presented. I shared it with a friend and we both ended up very satisfied. The teriyaki sauce was delightful, and I was pleasantly surprised by the gyoza – they were big and wonderfully crunchy, a nice change from what I've encountered elsewhere. The danmuji (pickled radish) added a great touch to the meal. The pickup process was quick, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend this place!
