I visited the restaurant to order all my food, but what I received was uncooked tandoori roti. It wasn't even authentic tandoori roti; it was just frozen food. I wasted $20 on this disappointing experience.
Delicious tandoori chicken(by Indian standards too)!!! My husband stumbled upon this place and picked up my favorite dish, tandoori chicken. I'm very picky when it come to Indian/ Nepalese food but this one is a clear go to place for me!! Loved their food!!!
Nepalese cuisine in Hayward? Yes! First time trying out this restaurant after I purchased a gift card during a promotion run by the City of Hayward or else I wouldn't have known this place even existed. The entrance was easy to miss because it's located on busy Foothill Blvd. I've always been able to find ample parking along the streets. As you walk in, a chef is already busy making the naan at the window. Inside is larger than I expected because there were two sections with ample seating. The owner at the front register is very friendly and offered us free vegetarian appetizers to try as we were deciding what to order off the menu. My kids decided to order Indian dishes like the chicken masala, whereas, I decided to try their momo dish that came highly recommended. The taste is similar to Chinese dumplings. I ordered it with sauce so it's served on a beautiful platter at your table. The side of jasmine rice is okay to share and complimented the dishes. A very nice discovery!
Absolutely mind blowing food. We ordered chicken jhol momos and vegetable chowmein and both of them tasted so good. It felt homemade and fresh. Definitely will be ordering more items from the menu and I recommended others to enjoy their delicious food too.
