Cassie's Cafe - Hazel Green

This small café is a gem! The food is delicious and it's a wonderful spot to mingle with the locals. We gathered here for our weekly prayer lunch and everyone enjoyed the meal.

This restaurant can be inconsistent. Last week, I ordered the chicken livers and they were really good. But today, they were fried to a crisp. The onion rings and okra were also overcooked.

I had an amazing experience at Cassie's Cafe in Hazel Green Meridianville Happenings while on a pet sitting job out of town. The restaurant was slightly understaffed but very friendly. The parking lot was full to the max, so I had to park around back. The atmosphere was filled with friendly locals and the waitresses even called the customers by their first names. As the owner of Traveling 4 Critters, an onsite home and farm pet sitter, I appreciated the personalized service. The food was fantastic!

1st time here while on a Home Pet Sitting job in Meridianville, stopped in for breakfast. It was amazing, friendly staff, full of locals, waitresses calling customers by their 1st names!! A place that is the true South, their atmosphere was amazing the food was great!!

Cassie’s is a great place for lunch special (meat 3 veggies plus free dessert). The food is good, some days the meat selection is better than others (only reason for 4 stars instead of 5). But ordering off the menu is always an option. Portions are good sized but not so much that you end up too full leaving a bunch on your plate. Can’t miss with this place.
