Denny's - Hazelwood

It's been at least 20 years since I was last at a Denny's. My wife had been mentioning Denny's for a while so we went there this morning. We both had a Value Slam breakfast, a coffee ordered a side of toast. My gravy on the biscuit was not even heated so it had to be returned. The over medium eggs were crispy around the edges which my wife hates... it doesn't bother me though. She did like her pancakes! Our waitress was friendly courteous so we gave her a 20% tip. I was really surprised to see the silverware actually clean with no water spots. With tip, our bill was just over $28. Not a value for the money so it'll be another 20 years before coming back.

I took my sons here for a Valentine’s Day meal and the waitress was amazing nothing but good things about her but the cook that night was horrible. My chicken sandwich wasn’t done in the inside at all and there was a BUG in my nachos !!! And the cook tried to downplay it and tell us it was a MUSHROOM FROM THE FRYER. Iwas disgusted.

Understaffed and slow service. Food is good nonetheless.
