Salerno's Pizzeria - Hazlet Township

This restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but it's definitely more suited for takeout than for dining in. If you're in the mood for Italian food but prefer to eat at home, this is the perfect spot. The food is truly delicious! The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs, and there’s a surprisingly wide selection of food and drinks. As for vegetarian options, I tried the eggplant parmesan and zucchini with balsamic vinaigrette, and both dishes were very flavorful.

I ordered a pizza for delivery and was initially told it would take 30 to 40 minutes. After an hour, I called back and was informed it would still be 30 to 40 minutes. An hour later, I was finally told there had been a mistake. After waiting for three hours, I decided to cancel my order. The owner offered excuses in an attempt to justify why it took so long to make a pizza.

The food here is always incredible! The buffalo chicken pizza is the best I've ever had. I've been getting it for years now. Even though I've moved about 45 minutes away, I still make it a point to order a personal buffalo chicken pizza whenever I'm in the area!

Just left here. Pizza was fine, except that one of the slices had a hair. After quietly asking for a replacement slice, the person who I'm assuming is the owner asked to see the hair and then insisted that it didn't match any of them. He then looked at my hair and said it looks like mine. The only problem with his theory was that I wasn't sitting anywhere near that slice. He ended up not charging us, but only after ruining our dinner.

I picked up my pizza, and before I even noticed the owner called me saying he gave me the wrong pizza and was delivering me the correct one complimentary for his mistake! The pizza was delicious and service was great, I will be back.
