Lokomotif Kafe Trattoria - Haz-Zebbug

Best one in Malta so far! The food is delicious, the tagliate is a solid 10/10. The owners are very friendly and they make you feel like home, would definitely recommend!

Love this place! I have only good memories from visiting; never has anyone had anything but a top rating of the food and service. Introduced some years ago by a friend, several others have independently recommended Lokomotif. Since most of us live far it is not just next doors to get there but everyone 's happy to make the trip to Zebbug to visit Lokomotif! <3 Typically, you can eat a great meal drinks for around €25 but since we love it so much we come hungry and try to manage at least a starter and a main excellent wine so we probably end up spending €40pp normally.

We had just been on a hike and we phoned Lokomotif Kafe to see if they had a table for 5 in like 45 minutes for lunch and yes they could accommodate us. Three of us had pasta for mains and two shared a tagliata. The food was excellent and am glad they served some fresh bread because the sauce was too good to be left in the plate. Desert was homemade and equally divine. Definitely 5 stars from us all for service with a smile, presentation and complements to the chef for a very satisfying good meal. We will be back!
