This is really complicated for a big party on one ticket! But the really awful thing was the servers went and helped other customers. All because they were “from the railroad”. They are usually very understaffed and typically rude. Not worth your time.
My first time there ,very friendly ,knowledgeable, clean . Recommend visiting it at least once take it off your bucket list . Reminds me of the old waffle houses ,small but up to date
We left Penny's Diner stuffed and happy! We went there for breakfast and it was low-key, just the way we like it. It was our first visit there and I'd love to go again if I'm in the area. I ordered the omelette plate with wheat toast and it was delicious. The toast was already buttered just the way I like it and the coffee was delicious. We tried the cinnamon roll and it was good. I would have preferred less glaze but it was still good and you really can't beat homemade. They tasted like the Little Debbie Spinwheels: We had to wait a bit for our food but it was worth the wait. The restaurant looked clean and roomy. I didn't feel crowded or rushed at all.
Been wanting to stop in here for years and so glad that we did! Great group of people working. Service was just outstanding. Atmosphere was great. Food was diner food. It was really good. Just not pushing five-star boundaries! I would highly recommend stopping in and enjoying everything!
We are from east Texas and traveling for grandsons baseball. Stopped at Penny's Diner for lunch mainly because it looks nostalgic. But let me tell you the service was so kind and the food was delicious. I had the French dip and eat every bit of it. Thank you Penny's for a great experience. I?
