Heatherbraes Pies

The gluten-free chunky beef pie is excellent! It's the best pie I've ever had. The pastry is incredibly tasty and the beef is so tender it melts in your mouth. I wouldn't dare to add sauce to these pies.

I ordered the Jillaroo pie, but was disappointed to find that it had a watery filling with no discernible taste of bacon or cheese. Additionally, there were only two small pieces of steak in the pie.

If you are a fan of pies, they offer a wide variety to choose from. While the prices are not cheap at $8-$10, the steak mushroom pie was quite enjoyable.

The service at this restaurant was extremely slow. Despite there being only two people working behind the counter, there were a lot of customers waiting. I had to wait in line for 20 minutes just to order a coffee. This is unacceptable and indicates poor management.

The pies at this restaurant are nothing special and I would not recommend them, but the desserts are excellent.
