Ocean Reef Chinese Restaurant

Was told the wait would be 30 mins but ended up being a hour. While waiting cold pizza for my daughter. no apology and no reason for the delay wasn't busy. Got home to find chow mein had no noodles at all-very odd meal. Will not be back

We have been visiting this restaurant for over 30 odd years. Still the original owners who recognise us as soon as we walk in. We have never had a bad meal here. It’s certainly a little hidden gem.

We have been coming to this family Chinese restaurant for the past 40 yrs and the food is always delicious. They feel like family

We often have preconceived notions about how food should be prepared. For example, the satay entree at this restaurant did not come with peanut sauce, which was a bit surprising to me. However, the beef was beautifully cooked and tender, and there was nothing left of it. The omelette was good, but the pork was even better. I would definitely go back again. By the way, they are open on Monday nights!

Worst salt and pepper pork ribs I’ve ever had. Who batters ribs! The chicken in the chow mein was rubbery and the soft noodles far to salty. Nice big bag of crisps and the special fried rice weren’t too bad but wouldn’t use again.
