Conditorei-café Schafheutle

Whenever they go to this cafe bar, they feel that they were taken back 100 years in history. so it comes without surprise when you know that this place opened in 1832. Yeah, almost 200 years ago. this is another MUST-Stop-at-Café for me when I visit heidelberg. wandheutle is located on the main road (main road of the old town of the city). the place is divided into many sitting areas, each having its own feeling and ambiente. with mild weather you can sit in the garden (on the back and enjoy the sun and the lush green environment. their cakes and sweets (which they make in their own bakery are simply excellent. service is friendly, but tend to be slow when the place is overcrowded. the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place for a break (snack, drink, coffee. how to tour the old city or shopping on the main street.

A truly historical place that has kept its rest for a long time. now a really elevated place to take a break from the hectic of the main road. on the back a beautiful garden and an inside terrace with the choice to be in or out. the cakes and baked are excellent, the selection overwhelming! cakes and torts, the best chocolates! Feed their eyes on everything when they enter, then choose their choice. they are served at the table where they decide to sit. friendly staff. our waiter was a young student, very pleasant.

I liked this cafe, it is located at the shopping strip. They have lots of choices of cake, and the cafe is large and luxurious, I found the prices okay and not too expensive for what you get. We took breakfast here and it was lovely. The waiter was friendly and helpful. The toilet was chique, but had a small designer flaw in the sink, it sprayed water not only down but also sprayed it on to you. No big problem. I’d recommend this for lunch or breakfast. A beautiful place to have a cup of coffee, And they also have so many nice cakes And sweets. But the ice coffee……I'm a little bit disappointed. Just so so. Generally speaking it is still my favorite cafe in Heidelberg because of the nice deocreation and the nice garden！I would like to give 4.8 to here！
