Could depend on the daytime. we were at the end of Saturday afternoon. on the first look everything looks in order. location with very beautiful view. the restaurant is a bad imitation of the Dutch la place. hard salt potatoes, too long kept warm. spoiled vegetables. meat not tender and too much panad.

We were on our 10th high-time day (26.05.2017) in heidelberg and had caffeedurst – around 17 o'clock, we were already on the way back to the car. so high in the local. for 2 small cappuccino and a cheesecake, a chocolate heather cake and a piece of sheet metal around 13 euro. also the windows (panoramablick über heidelberg) were simply dirty. when my wife wanted to use the filling offer for a coffee (with a cup of candy you can refill the coffee for 1 euro), she only had to wait a few minutes, as the coworker would rather talk to a woman (which had not bought) and so she waited until the insane conversation was completed and she was allowed to pay. we had no feeling of being welcome.

Because in our hotel there was only overpriced breakfast we used on a Saturday the offer to taste the breakfast buffet all you can eat in dinea for 7.50€. there were freshly cut ananas over rolls (also full-grained), egg dessert in various variants, divine food, cheese, running pastries, muffins, müsli and orange juice to the black forests, sausage and season everything you need for an extensive breakfast. the personal was very nice and on demand also gladly showed what is included. happy again.

I've been to heidelberg several times. we went to dinea regularly when we needed a quick lunch with good food. is located in the galeria kaufhof. self-service, similar to our Mu-Mu or in the "kantine 57", which is in the gum, but the latter is slightly higher in the selection of feeds. eating is varied, meat and fish dishes can be prepared in front of their eyes the first dishes are so lala, not everyone's thing. but a good selection of baked and desserts. the prices are quite favorable. suitable for everyday meals.
