Grill 16 - Heidelberg

I was looking for a steakhouse for a late lunch (14 o'clock) and decided - since heid’s only opens at 17 o'clock - for grill 16. we were not disappointed. the waiter was very helpful to arrange the tables as we liked. the Rib-Eye-Steak was one of the best I had for a long time. the spare ribs were also very good. we spent about 2 hours and enjoyed the quiet environment with the nearby teasar on a sunny day.

The grill 16 offers a cheap location for dinner in the heidelberg marriott. the outside terrace is the ideal place to dinner when the weather is playing. the steaks were properly prepared and the sides were good. if they are in heidelberg and are looking for a bark steak, try grill 16!

This is not a destination restaurant, but if you stay in the marriott, it is worth at least one dinner in every case with good weather. the key is if you can sit outside on the terrace with views of the river. eating is of solid quality, though not innovativ.

The steaks were the advertised specificity. the steak I had was pretty good, but not completely prepared for temperature, as ordered. the pomme frittes were incredible!

The food was all delicious and well presented, but the time to excite the attention of the waiter after sitting was almost 30 minutes. the waiters were polite and accommodating when they confirmed us at the table.
