Nacoochee Village Tavern Pizzeria

Very excellent pizzas. Got The Popeye and the Mona Lisa. Great choices. Good crusts, sauces, and flavor combinations. The guys in the kitchen are killing it with these pies. The tavern has a cool vibe, very comfortable and cozy. Solid spot all the way around.

Came to do a food challenge but they no longer offer that. They were very accommodating and helped me fulfill my special order. Maddie was a great waitress and patient with us! I met the waiter Will, at a gas station and he recommended coming here also. This was a good change from the loud crowded restaurants that are in the heart of Helen. 10/10 would come again and definitely recommend the Dixie Chicken Pizza!!!

Loved this place. Best pizza ever. I see other reviews that said the service wasn't great. But that wasn't our experience at all. We went in, sat down immediately and got our food and drinks quickly. I wish I didn't live so far away because this would be a regular spot for me. I'd come back to Helen just to visit this place and get some more delicious pizza! Highly recommend!

Typical pizza dive, but really neat place. The food was excellent, I mean awesomeness delicious. The garlic bread comes with a pizza sauce, but it also comes with a hot relish that is incredible. I never would have thought of putting that on bread, but it's got a little zip to it and it is so tasty. My wife and I loved it and we want a copy it LOL. Overall, it's an excellent pizza place in Helen.

Went here for lunch and got a pepperoni pizza. The flavor of the pizza wasn't bad, but wasn't all that good either. It was really floppy so it was hard to eat and was dripping in grease. Chairs also uncomfortable. Service was pretty good, so it had that going for it.
