Perkins Bakery - Helena West Side

Had the pot roast stroganoff. Very delicious. Service was great.

My family is a big fan of American comfort foods, and so the Perkins fits right in! We are new to the great state of Montana, and we’re very excited to find this great restaurant in Helena where we live.Our men’s BSF group goes there every Monday night and our family has been there a bunch of times separately from that, and every time it’s been delicious, much more affordable than most places we used to eat in Commiefornia, and the service has been STELLAR!Our favorite server is Ray! Ray is the epitome of amazing! He seems to know what we need before we ask most of the time. And one time he forgot our free pie on Monday, (they have free pie with entree purchase mondays), he gave us a bunch of muffins the next time! I was t sweating it though, because he’s so pleasant we could never be mad. We have had other servers, and they are all great, but Ray is our favorite.Unlike the hellish state we escaped, the prices are reasonable, even in OBiden’s America with rising inflation. The atmosphere is just right too, for a family restaurant. I highly recommend the Perkins in Helena. Big Sky eating in freedom! ????

As long as you make it in before the Sunday morning rush (10 am-ish) they have you seated right away. Our server was busy but still pleasant and on top of things with our Order. The food was hot and tasted great this time around. they have definitely improved since my last visit. (5 stars if there was a way to separate the crowd waiting at the door from our table)

Very nice atmosphere. The food was great! Didn't have one of their amazing looking desserts that they make on site. Highly recommend!
