Very friendly service, and though the place is small they could seat the two of us on a Saturday evening without reservation. We were on a tight schedule but only ordering mains was no problem. The food was tasty, fresh and well prepared. My lamb fatta was so tender you could eat it with a spoon and the tomato sauce beautifully acidic, and my date's prawn dish was deliciously spicy. Highly recommended.

Best Mediterranean/Mid East/Arabic/Egyptian food I've ever eaten, it's a hidden gem of Helsinki and worth every penny! We (3 person) had the appetizer plate, kofta skewers, real Egyptian kebab skewers, and a mix plate of fried eggplant, homemade unique falafels and fuul bean smash with piping hot pitas. The skewer kebab was whole meat pieces and they were extremely tender, unlike some other mid Eastern places. The kofta was seasoned nicely and also had tender texture. I loved the toasty sesame and coriander seeds on top of the falafels. Did I say the appetizer platter had great dips, like Baba ganoush, tahini and musaka. The restaurant is owned by a sweet old couple who had time to introduce us the background of the dishes and history of the restaurant. The owners recommendations were really good. If you are nearby do definitely drop by!
