The Shipwrights Arms - Helston

This restaurant is charming and quite welcoming. The food was decent and the menu had enough options to satisfy hungry hikers or beach enthusiasts. They also had a good variety of beer to choose from. The outdoor picnic benches were a nice touch, although the overall setting wasn't outstanding. Despite that, it's still a great little pub.

I stopped by for lunch one afternoon after house hunting. The restaurant had lovely seating with scenic views, especially in the back room by the window. The outdoor patio areas leading down to the water would be perfect for summer dining. The food was reasonably priced and incredibly tasty. I ordered the Ham, Chicken, and Leek Pie, which came with plenty of delicious chips and a generous portion size. They even had a high chair available for my 21-month-old son. I also appreciated the nice story board outside the front door. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
