Carvel - Hempstead

The customer service here is extremely disappointing. They often don’t have the flavors that Carvel promotes on their website. This is likely the worst Carvel location I've ever visited.

I have lost a customer of over 30 years, along with others related to me. I arrived just as the restaurant was closing, and realizing I wouldn’t be able to make a purchase, I attempted to get the attention of the employees and the owner to ask a question. They intentionally ignored me. The friendliness and level of customer service have definitely declined. I used to visit this place multiple times whenever I was in town, as it was a childhood favorite, but I will not be returning. I’m giving it 3 stars based on my experience.

This Carvel is one of the oldest and best places for ice cream in the area.

Hate this place now! I bought a whole milk shake 7 dollars I dropped it by accident because my cousin bumped into me. I go back to the store ask for a refund or another shake and they said I had to pay the whole thing again. Ugh! I?m so mad and sad 7 dollars down the drain

I come here ALL the time. They rotate a lot on staff but they're mostly friendly, and the two older people that are always there are really sweet. Ice cream tastes so amazing and they have non-dairy products. Everything is refreshing and the wait time isn't too bad during the week.
