Sticks Tavern - Henderson

Went there on a Wednesday night and they were having some kind of trivia game going so it was very loud. We ordered poutine and greek feta fries for appetizers. The poutine was not very good. The gravy looked like gelatin and was overly salty. The cheese curds were pretty good. The Greek fries were a little disappointing but better than the poutine. Then we ordered the southwest burger and the fried chicken sandwich. The burger was very good if you like really spicy, but somewhat over priced in my opinion. The chicken sandwich was not as good. Not bad, but again for the price, I 've had much better.The service was good, our server was friendly. The menus we were given were dirty with catchup smears, etc...as were the salt and pepper shakers. We just felt the place could use a clean up. All the tables are around the bar and there are signs posted that say, No smoking or vaping. A woman sitting at the bar was vaping while talking to the bartender, so it 's clearly not enforced. I 'm pretty sure the woman vaping also worked there. It wasn 't terrible but probably won 't be back given all the other choices on Water street now.

Really cool bar to hang out and watch a game. Food is really good and service is great. Definitely stop by and have a few drinks when your on water street

I didn't eat; I had a drink. Nice staff, good size customized margarita for nine bucks. Not bad. They have live entertainment too. I would go back.Vegetarian options: I know they have a veggie burger, but I didn't eat there. I don't know if they cook it where they cook meat either.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options just don't know if the cooking process is shared where meat is cooked.

Decided to try something new with the family. We love Water St. And everything they have done. Sticks Tavern seems to be outdated compared to everything around. There were holes in walls with cords coming out and paint missing throughout the place. Service was ok and food was lacking. Chicken fingers were well done and burnt, like beef jerky texture. They were definitely unedible as we had all tried them. Was brought up to the waitress and still made us pay for them. Had to stop and get my daughter something on the way home. Wife and i ordered chicken fried steak eggs and it took them 20 mins to figure out that they ran out. They had only 5 beers on tap. Won't be back to this place and please don't waste your time either.
