Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Henderson

When I entered the restaurant, the odor was absolutely awful! I considered leaving immediately, but I really wanted a smoothie. The cashier, who appeared unkempt, handled my cash and then began making the smoothie without wearing gloves. To my dismay, he added water directly from the sink in the hand-washing station. As I watched him pour it into the cup, some of it spilled down the side, and he actually used his bare fingers to push it back into the cup. I expressed my concerns about how unsanitary that was, and he gave me a disrespectful look, prompting me to leave. This experience was unacceptable.

Short staffing must have caused the 1 employee to be in a bad mood (such a shame these young employees already have attitudes), and she didn't know how to make the drink correctly tasted horrible!!!!!!!! I was so disappointed. Couldn't get a refund so I just got a new drink from the same even angrier employee ,which still tasted wrong also the bananas were not peeled fresh they were brownish sitting in a big container on the counter!!!

This location is really dirty just nasty. The guy goes to make my smoothie in a dirty blender I can physically see that it?s dirty and he tells me it?s not. As the other guy behind him proceeded to remove bugs that are in the cut up fruits.

3rd time I?ve ordered an All-American wrap and it?s come back with one half full of cheese and then the egg and bacon is on the other side. How does this make any sense? Eat a cheese wrap to begin and then finish with the egg/bacon? Figured I would try again but the same issue keeps happening. It?s the same person making the wrap each time I go and I?m not sure if this person just doesn?t care or wasn?t trained properly because it?s quite simple to evenly distribute cheese, egg, bacon in a wrap. On top of that, the person making my smoothie was coughing and sniffling the entire time which made me actually toss my smoothie as soon as I got home. This location has really slipped in the past 2 years and today will be my last visit unfortunately.

I’ve experienced the worst service here multiple times, and today was the final straw. I ordered a salad, and they couldn’t even manage to get that right – it was missing the key ingredient that makes a salad a salad: lettuce! I waited 20 minutes for them to prepare it, and the server even tried to argue that there was lettuce included. To top it off, the smoothie was watered down and didn’t even fill the cup. Overall, terrible service, subpar food, and clear issues with the staff.
