Bluegrass Bar & Grill - Hendersonville

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. We arrived about 10 minutes after they opened. I ordered a meat lovers pizza and my son had wings. He initially enjoyed the wings until he tried the pizza and found it to be even better. He wanted a mixed drink, but we were informed that they do not serve alcohol. The atmosphere was very plain, with dark lighting and walls that were still waiting to be painted. The positive was that one of the employees covered half of our bill, which was a kind gesture, though unexpected. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but it did not meet my expectations for a bar and grill.

This place is always fun. Just discovered that there is trivia on Tuesday nights. Food and service are both good. Menu is on the smaller side but still has good options.

We assumed there might be live bluegrass music here but there wasn’t. Website wasn’t helpful to research current offerings before we drove there. Menu had not much to offer for vegetarian diners. Parking lot is torn up due to a construction project going on next to this place. We promptly left. Almost fell in the potholes of the parking lot.

Good experience, friendly atmosphere, staff very attentive. Crispy Chicken Salad delicious.

Waited 25 mins for a kids meal to go that never came. I think they forgot to put it in because we just ordered that and no drinks like everyone else at the bar.
