The staff was friendly and polite, which made for a great dining experience. One of my favorite parts was the collection of black-and-white celebrity photos decorating the walls. These photos featured actual stars who have dined at the restaurant, and many of them signed the pictures, sharing praises about the barbecue and ribs. I spotted a wide variety of signatures, from Loretta Lynn to The Temptations. It was a lovely touch!
I absolutely loved it! We were looking for an authentic Nashville experience, and this place delivered. It's a cozy spot with generous portions and even bigger BBQ flavors!
I ordered the pulled pork plate with two sides: hot coleslaw and potato salad. The barbecue was excellent. The hot coleslaw was unique, but I might opt for the vinegar or mayo-based version next time. Out of the six sauces, the Wolf sauce was definitely my favorite.
Ribs were so old hard I could barely eat a quarter of them then got bad sick to my stomach from the maybe 3 ate the coleslaw was so bad only took 1 bite just like the baked beans idk if it was because it was because it was 2 hours before closing they just didn't want to make more or what but they shouldn't do business that way
Had mistakenly thought there would be smoked meats here which precipitated this visit. Unfortunately my timing was also bad and the owners were set to leave on their yearly 2week shut down/vacation so Brisket “my main reason for going” was not available. Got the Pit Master special and the smoke ham plate. I was excited to try the smoked Ham (you can smoke a ham a second time? and was disappointed that it was spiral sliced ham texture with what I will call “Christmas/pumpkin pie seasonings/flavor, no smokiness at all. For the Pit master we choose Turkey, ribs, pulled pork… (No brisket offered The Turkey and Pork were both moist, but honestly flavorless. The ribs were very good, having been cooked, cut up, seasoned and seared on a grill. The hand cut fries were also a stand out. Big fan of any fresh cut fries. To me the bbq sauces were kinda eclectic, just names that didn’t mean much to me. A lot of vinegar in everyone i tried and none that stood out to any of us. So it wasn’t a smokehouse, but the only sense of BBQ we got was with the ribs. I never complain about the price of a great meal, but center point is extremely expensive for the portions and the product. Very friendly staff and you get a clean “dive” feel from the location.
