Favilla's - Hendersonville

Great place to eat. Decent size dine-in area. We ate with a party of 15. Owner is from Brooklyn and makes great NY style pizza including gluten free. A beautiful bonus is that they cannolis and zeppoles (the menu has named them with another name).

I was simply on the way through the city, not out of the area, pizza was very good,,, not necessarily what I would consider real NY crust, but very good not the less,,,, half flesh ball, half eggplant,,,, nice amount of toppings,,, everyone was nice,,,,, service was also good,,,,,,,,,,

Let me say first, we went in minutes before closing to order a cake for execution. A complete oversight as I read the hours online incorrectly and did not notice the hours in the window until after our order. Talk about an authentic cake! The best cake we had since the NYC retreat!

Big hidden gem! We came to town on weekends and I was hungry for pizza. Instead of ordering our long-term favorite, I decided to try a new place in the city, Favilla's. We ordered the House Special Pizza and a Greek salad. The pizza was huge and with a perfect amount of fresh ingredients, delicious sauce, and the crust was a perfect NY style crust.. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and the big ones would have fed at least four people! The salad was also amazing! They didn't put on fresh ingredients and some of the best Greek dressing I had in a long time! Bonus was free delivery from Door Dash. Next trip I will definitely protect them again!

So far the things I've tried have been good. The noodles on the lasagna I got were a little undercooked, and I wanted more red sauce (I picked it up to go that time so I couldn't ask for more on the side). The pizza is delicious. The lunch specials are a good price and two pieces of pizza was more than enough to fill me up! I am glad they have opened in Hendersonville!
