The cinnamon bagel was good, but at $1.75 with tax, it felt a bit overpriced for just one bagel without any toppings. Unfortunately, the young lady who served us was quite rude, and it seemed like she just wanted to close up and leave, making us feel like we were getting in the way. They do offer bagel sandwiches, and we plan to return someday to give one a try.
I walked in this morning to grab breakfast and wasn't greeted at all. Instead, I overheard the employees talking negatively about previous customers. I don’t usually write bad reviews, but here I am. I understand that not everyone is cheerful, but it’s important to be polite and respectful. At the very least, keep those comments to yourselves, so other customers can't hear. I couldn’t help but wonder what they might say about me once I left.
The bagels here are tasty, though they aren't quite as fluffy as those from up north. However, they're among the best I've found in this area. I noticed they refer to pork roll as Taylor ham, which is great to see on the menu outside of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. I’ll definitely be returning!
Like a trip to New York in the mountains!!! Great PEOPLE and Eats
As a former New Yorker, I can confidently say that these bagels are the best you'll find in the Asheville area!
