My chicken sandwich was super flavorful and the homemade brioche buns were delicious! The wood fired pizzas also looked really good although we didn't try one. The ambiance is super nice with indoor and outdoor seating. Food came out fast and service was great!
My wife and I have been here a few times. The nachos appetizer is good. Margarita are tasty and come in a big glass, but it's all shaved ice. Our entrees were forgettable. Atmosphere is biz casual. The main room and patio get pretty loud. Feels festive and casual. Staff are friendly. The menu is pretty limited as are the wine selections. Dinner for two ran $170 with tip. Lots of better selections for us at that price point.
The food was amazing! I had the caprese salad for starters and the shrimp and fried polenta. My partner had the lemon steak. All of it was superb! The waiters were friendly and efficient.
YUM! Last-minute reservations made for a Friday lunch on the way home from a trip were fast and easy through the app on their website. Our Williamsburg family likes to head to the foothills or mountains for weekend and vacays, so we are often driving through Richmond and searching for a place where everyone (2 picky teens) can find something they 'd like to eat. Tazza was perfect for us...pizza, salads, tacos, yummy cocktails for mom, and really excellent bread. (Tazza is short for tacos and pizza, by the way...)Husband ordered the chorizo nachos app for lunch...good but could have used more veg/ something else ...throw a handful of arugula and some pickled veggies on there and it would be amazing. One kid ordered the cast iron goat cheese ...meltedGoat cheese mixed in with marinara sauce and hunks of crusty bread w olive oil...we ALL dug into that...soooo good. Both kids had the freestyle (make your own) pizzas. Nice char on the wood fired pizzas but not too much.I had the Mediterranean bowl...a TON of plain black lentils, some hummus, marinated cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, a sliced hunk of nicely seared halloumi cheese, and a few tiny pita triangles. If I were to critique this dish, I would say there was far too much lentil and not enough hummus and pita wedges, but that 's just me.The lentils were plain but a nice base to mix in with all the other flavors, which also included gently sweet-pickled onions and fennel, and some arugula. I have a lot of leftover lentils I 'm bringing home to add to more of my own hummus and veg as leftovers for tomorrows lunch. One of the kids had a nonalcoholic watermelon-based drink called One Fine Day, which was soooo good, and I really enjoyed the Pink Pony Club, which is: tequila, velvet falernum, watermelon, hibiscus, lime and tiki bitters. We will definite stop by again on our next trip and we 'll leave room for dessert this time! The desserts sounded great. Can 't wait to try tacos and the black pepper honey pizza.
Again, first timers to this place. Went based on recommendation of a HS Friend. Service and staff are top notch. No complaints. They were very patient in helping us make choices. The margaritas are very good from the bar. He recommended the spicy sausage pizza (which I went with). My wife tried the prosciutto and arugula pizza with a side salad (crunchy potato and arugula). We killed it. It was so good. Because we were first timers, we got a complimentary dessert. The Key Lime Pie was excellent. You guys rock. We will be back. Thanks for a great experience.
