One of the better meals I've ever had. I've had it two meals in a row now, and tonight will probably make it 3. Totally unexpected, how good it is. Some dishes have the feel of home cooking, others are excellent examples of complex flavor andspices. If I lived here, this would be one of my go to places. My only regret is that I didn't order the whole menu.
Cross Contamination!!! Recently, I bought Vegetable Biryani from them and I found a small piece of chicken. I have dietary restrictions so I don?t eat non-vegetarian food and by choice I never eat meat. This is seriously ridiculous because this ishappening for the second time. The last time this happened I called them and they said ?it cannot happen? and as though I waslying. Unfortunately, the last time I did not have an image as a proof. Anyone who buys vegetarian food from them or those whodon?t eat meat, think twice. Either they are using the same biryani rice for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian biryani orthere?s cross contamination. I am reporting this incident to the health department as this is very serious to me. Will nevervisit again.
I would give it 0 stars if I could. This restaurant used to be good but it is really awful these days. Where do I even begin. I ordered starters and some food. They ended up bringing the main course first and mid way through finishing my main course theybring the starters. The Mysore masala dosa was really really bad. We ordered malai kofta which was really good but thedisappointment was the onion kulcha and paneer naan. They were the size of a thin roti. The photo I added is the onion kulcha,it looks like a kulcha papad if you ask me. Our starters were chili bhajji which was ok but the chili paneer was absolutelyhorrendous. We couldn?t even eat a single piece of paneer. It was paneer marinating in something that looked like a cheap tomatosauce. If this place is known for Biryani they should abandon everything else and just sell Biryani. I have never been to arestaurant and felt so unhappy while leaving the place. The icing on the cake, the lassi we ordered was only three-fourth full.
I have always loved the bold South Indian food. the bryanis here are fantastic, but also the fried/tandoori cups, meat/fish curries and ziegentrockenfries. huge aromas and savory sauces.
