Gaylord's Caffe Espresso - Hercules

This coffee shop is adorable and perfect for a relaxed outing. They offer a variety of pastries and the espresso is delicious. I tried the cappuccino with cinnamon and nutmeg, which was warm and frothy. My friend opted for the Mexican mocha, which had a delightful mix of chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of cayenne pepper for some kick. We sat by the window, enjoying people-watching as we caught up with each other. Overall, a great experience.

This charming café has a vibrant ambiance. The coffee was exceptional, made just the way I like it. It's great that this café stays open late and has ample seating for groups. Definitely worth a visit!

I was hesitant to try this restaurant at first because I thought it might be too trendy for me based on its exterior. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is one of the few coffee shops in the area open past 8-9PM. This alone earns it a 5-star rating in my book and drew me inside. The cafe offers a great variety of tea and espresso drinks, and I particularly enjoyed the Milky Way. Although the service was a bit slow, the drink was definitely worth the wait. The ambiance is charming, with an antique facade, old video game consoles as tables, and plenty of natural light streaming in through the windows. The snacks are both delicious and affordable (avocado toast for less than $20 is a steal in the Bay area). I will definitely be returning to this gem of a cafe.

This is a nice spot for a quick coffee and pastry. I really liked that there are a lot of small tables. I came in a bit later around 6pm and it was crowded but I was able to get a table with my friend. They offer wi-fi and the coffee and food was good and a good price. The other thing I really liked about the place is that it is open until midnight! This is a good find considering that a lot of coffee shops in the area close around 7pm the latest (this is why it earned its 5 stars). It's a great spot if you can get over the limited parking

The only café in the neighborhood open till midnight. Perfect for getting work done. Vibe is geeky/nerdy with the two Pac-Man arcade tables (which also serve as coffee and work table... how cool is that! Additionally, sometimes DJ’s will spin records into the night. You might not even notice them... but look above the entrance... it’s a mini stage! This place has character.
