Cafe Ascari - Herefordshire, County of

There are not a lot of cafes open on Sunday mornings, but I was very happy to stumble upon this place. They have a great selection on the menu, quick and friendly service, and the food was delicious.

I used to come to this restaurant with my mother and brother in the late 80s for cappuccinos and lemon balm. We didn't return in the 90s, but I always remembered it fondly. When I visited Hereford this week with my own family, I was delighted to see that Ascari's still serves great coffee and lemon meringue pie. The food we had was delicious, but it was the torte that really made the experience special for me, bringing back memories of past visits.

My family and I enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant. I arrived early and was not disappointed. The ingredients are fresh, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is always clean with no dirty dishes left on the tables. They also have a great cafe area. Thank you, Ascaris.

We cried in the bann and had a wonderful lamb. it was hot and delicious. the staff was friendly and helpful. we would definitely recommend this place!

Although I found the staff very friendly, the breakfast was without doubt the worst I have ever had. I get the poor-quality meat because of the good price but I was unable to finish off the bacon as it was not cooked. As for the...black pudding I had to spit it out due to it not being cooked at all. Not even slightly. Maybe we were unlucky with our two dishes but I will never risk going through those doors again.
