Fantastic family and friends meal with our boys. Went for lunch with friends. Had 3 boys under 7 with us. Food was fantastic with clean plates all round. Had a range of meals from Sunday roast, curry, venison pie, fish finger sandwich and Scampi. Puddings were also really nice. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was great value. Nice atmosphere and good service. Thank you very much!

This pub is fantastic - it's cozy, warm, and well-organized, with the best selection of beer and cider in Ledbury. I've had food here before and it was excellent.

Popped in for a quick lunchtime pint and stopped for two and some food. Nice warm welcome in smallish pub, good selection of beers and ciders on hand pump and what we had was served in perfect condition and reasonable priced. The menu is not extensive, but to traditional pub fare. The pie and sausages we had was fine, but not exceptional, but a reasonable value for money. If ever in area again would happily call in again.

It has been over a year since our last visit to Ledbury. Despite living not too far away and always enjoying our visits in the past, we decided to treat ourselves to a pub lunch and browse around the area for a day's break. The atmosphere and setting of the restaurant were pleasant, clean, and interesting, with helpful and friendly staff. The beer was excellent, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered the jumbo cod and chips, which was not jumbo at all. The batter was lackluster, and there was hardly any fish inside, which was also overcooked. The chips were decent, as well as the tartar sauce, but overall, the meal left a bad taste in our mouths and soured our experience. In hindsight, we wished we had mentioned our disappointment to the staff. We suggest that the restaurant should not advertise Fish on Fridays as a special unless it truly offers something unique. This experience dampened our day slightly, but we hope that the restaurant will improve this aspect, as it has other positive qualities that we appreciate.
