Casa Grande - Hermosillo

It was good. good service, but a little expensive. coffee was good and refilled. burritos de machaca and panckakes were a really good choice

Casa Grande is a nice place to eat, but I couldn 't quite rate it as 'very good ' as 4 star denotes. It is certainly good. The restaurant is in a nice location of town (the north as you enter from the highway). It is generally...clean, but a little dated. The service is probably better than what you will usually find in Mexico (which isn 't saying much). The best thing going for Casa Grande is the food. My wife and I eat their fairly frequently and have not been disappointed. It 's not the best food in town for traditional Mexican, but it is consistently good. This is why we return.

A nice Mexican restaurant in the hotel zone of Hermo. They serve mainly traditional Mexican dishes for breakfast and dinner. I usually come here for breakfast and the food is always good. (portions are a bit small though). Food is delicious, prices are right, and...service is very good.

The restaurant does not look very nice but the food is quite good. Especially the local Sonora dishes! It has a nice terrace where you can have dinner at night. I do not recommend it during the summer days as the temperature is too high...to feel comfortable!

Now this isn't my first rodeo to Case Grande, but it is my first review of the place. Last time I came, I felt short change by the size of my steak. My friends and I ordered the same size arrachera and mine looked like...half fell off the wagon on the way to the table. Rest assured they corrected the problem and brought out an entire new piece of arrachera for me to endulge in. And let me say that was a BIG piece of meat. This time they got it right the first time. The arrachera was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. I will always recommend this place to everyone I know going to Hermosillo. That other place up the street has become to ordinary. WOW!!!
