Mortimers - Herne Bay

What a charming place to eat in the city. beautiful decoration, pictures of landscape images on walls are for sale. large varied menu. for the roast lamb abd it became lush with a good part of the lamb.

I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Mortimer's in Herne Bay for saving our Mother’s Day! After we had a reservation at another restaurant for 2:30 PM, they had to cancel on us at 2 PM due to unforeseen circumstances. While we understood that such things can happen, we were left in a tight spot. Thankfully, a quick call to Mortimer's changed everything. They accommodated us with excellent service and served the most delicious fried dinners and crispy puddings! Thank you so much to Richard, Chloe, and the rest of the team for making our day special. This restaurant never gives a great service, great food and a delicious full drink if they want a decent homemade meal at a decent price and with a smile on the face, then this is the place to go!

Very friendly and welcoming! Helped set up a baby chair for us. Food was nice too. Would definitely return!
