We had the tacos árabe. Incredibly good. Simple tacos served with salsa pico de gallo and another delicious sauce . The tortilla is like a flat bread or flat pita. Great value menú. We were a party of 6 and only paid 220 pesos. (About $13). I notice some foreigners eating here. It is definitely a "whole in the wall". The Bathroom was not in the best conditions. I will be back!!
There were 6 of us, we ordered the Paquete Especial 1 for 200 pesos. We got a kilo of sliced pork from the spit, Arabic bread, maize tortillas and tort a bread, a litre of horchata, litre of soft drink, roast spring onions, and 2 kinds of salsa. More than enough for 6. Meat was tender and moist. Service was sharp. There was a queue and we had to wait 10 minutes - worth it
If you want to eat where the local (low and middle class) eat this is the place to go. However, if you like restaurants with a big variety forget it the only thing you will find here is tacos.........as well as some different sides (do try the grilled small onions). If you find a restaurante that is completely full independet of the day of the week and is full of locals that it means it is a really good restaurant. Adding to this the price is also very low, you can have a meal (one taco with two tortillas and a coke) for two euros, which is something you will not be able to find in Europe. The only recommendation is do not be the first one at lunch time since they will sell you the meat that was not used from the previous night unless you ask for a "fresh" meat.
