It?s one of those experiences where you taste new flavors for the first time, in the right way, and wonder how you?ve lived your life up to that point without coming across it. Trust the employees to guide you in choosing the food, their recommendations are spot on.
The team here is absolutely amazing! This is such a hidden gem. We live in the middle of valley, but this will definitely become a regular spot for us despite it being a little off the beaten path! The building is large and beautiful, perfect for groups of any size! We had the pambazo, huarache, and two horchatas. Literally everything was incredible! Perfectly seasoned, super flavorful, and delicious! If you are looking for real, authentic Mexican cuisine, this is a must!!!! I seriously cannot recommend it enough!
This is not a typical dine-in chips and salsa Mexican restaurant, it is authentic Mexico City food. You order your food then find a table. Fun place to go out to eat and try something unique, price is around $10-$15 a plate. Food and service great!
Here?s the deal, if you seek nice, quality, fresh, made to order Mexican Food, please come here. If you expect your typical $2 taco taqueria and you get chips and salsa, don?t come here. Also if your pref is Tex-Mex then for sure don?t come. This spot is just amazing and I truly wanted to order one of everything on the menu because right away you can tell it?s going to be good. I really think getting an order to go is doing a disservice in the temperature and made to order factor by eating here. You can see in the pics, the portion sizes are no joke. While we had a few bites of each of the items seen, by far that Gordita Especial with Chorizo Y Papa was the main event. On top of that, the two salsas offered (Verde and Rojo) were also fresh and amazing. Not sure if this is a joint for gente but I really hope this business succeeds for many a decade to come. There is plenty of parking lot parking and please be patient for your food, it?s worth the wait.
Some of the best Mexican food I?ve had in Utah, and from a completely different cuisine than most of us are familiar with! The restaurant does not look like what you?d expect from the name, but the space is beautiful and has good views. The decorations are tasteful. They have footage of Mexico City playing on TVs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The server explained the menu in depth as we entered. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer. Prices were very fair and the menu is fascinating. The dishes are Mexican City cuisine and very different from Americanized Mexican food. The restaurant was very clean and bright from natural light. The food was amazing. We tried an Al pastor Pambazo, a chiccaron gordita, and horchata. All were tremendous. The Al pastor was pretty good, made with pineapple chunks. The chiccaorn was the best I?ve ever had. It was not a bit dry, crispy, or chewy. The horchata was very flavorful and rich. I can?t wait to return and try more items.
