Marco Polo Gardens - Hershey

I have to say that the food can be inconsistent. Saturday night appears to be the ideal time to visit. The Champagne Chicken is excellent, and it was the best pork foo young I've ever tasted.

Hit or Miss. I took the family there twice and didn't know I was in the same restaurant. The first time, the food was brilliant, the chicken was trimmed by all fat, it was served fast and hot and the service was impeccable. The second time the chicken was hard and the service was absent. I haven't returned since, but I'm likely to.

The best Sesame Chicken I ate EVER. Spicier than I expected, but the heat makes it so much better. Chicken and broccoli are also good. The Mongolian beef was too spicy for my taste. Overall high quality Chinese food. We order a departure from Marco Polo at least twice a month.

This is not your typical fast food Chinese restaurant. Once you experience Marco Polo's, you'll find it hard to enjoy any of the typical generic fast food Chinese spots. They truly are the best by a long shot.

If you're in search of a high-end restaurant, this isn't the place for you. It's a family-run Chinese restaurant, and the food is excellent and freshly prepared. While the spicy dishes weren't too hot, I'm sure they can adjust the heat level if you request it. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't very busy, so keep that in mind regarding the quality of service, which was quite good. The ambiance may not be the most appealing, but don't let that deter you from trying it out. In terms of Chinese cuisine, it's significantly better than many of the more expensive Chinese restaurants I've visited.
