I tried the vegan banh mi sandwich at this restaurant, which came on a house-made baguette with seitan, mushroom pâté, pickled daikon, and jalapeño, served with fries for $13. It was just okay, nothing special. I would consider returning for the beer (I especially enjoyed the freaky peach flavor) rather than the food.

Eating was good, but nothing special. nothing on the menu is vegan as-is, and the so-called vegan menu is just a menu that tells them what they take from any dish to make it vegan. And so we had black beans tacos without avocado crema (only black beans and salsa), a pulp without sosss, fry without aioli, street maize leaves without aioli or cotija. I was hungry and so it was good to eat, but nothing particularly tasteful or worth the prizes. I should have read the reviews here. when I read that she had a vegan menu, I thought there were better options.

Tröegs is one of those places you have to commend for at least having legitimate vegan options and even going as far as to have a separate menu upon request. There isn’t anything too experimental on this menu but for most guests, the food is an add-on to the brewery experience and is there to compliment your drinks. I would certainly go again if I was in the area.
