The Black Dog Cafe - Hervey Bay

Great find. Lots of seafood dishes and very fresh. Had the lobster salad. 1/2 a WA lobster, prawns, calamari, scallops, salad and rice $36, one of the most expensive on menu but lovely. Other meals as low as $22. Huge variety, sushi, seafood, Asian. However by 6.30 they didn't have two things on specials board that we knew of and they didn't remove them from board while we were there. Wasn't busy at 6.30 either so where did they go. Would return if I had time.

The menu offers a good variety, including some nice seafood selections. The service was impressively quick, and the dinner was enjoyable. Prices were reasonable, making it a great choice for those who want to avoid cooking and cleaning at home.

The food and service were excellent; it was the best dining experience we had in Hervey Bay during Easter.

Overall, it was a great value. Well done, team! I’ll definitely return when I’m back in Hervey Bay. Thank you!
