Last weekend we had a small wedding reception at the Culinary School. Everything from the planning, to the menu and service was absolute perfection! I wouldn’t change a thing about our experience with them and will forever cherish our memories of our special day there.

My friends I got lucky scored 3 seats at the bar for dinner on their last day of the season. We arrived at 5pm. Bartender was excellent, food was fantastic the Cocktails were perfect. Also enjoyed a Moscow mule. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Sunday brunch was not served due to staff shortage perhaps. So we returned at 5pm for dinner. Definitely worth it.

Probably the best restaurant in the Upper Peninsula The Restaurant Les Cheneaux and Culinary School really delivers with excellent and eclectic cuisine. The bar is mixing very complex and very good cocktails. Also, their wine list gives us patrons unbelievable choices and ridiculously fair prices, i.e. the French Bordeaux we had for $33 was really good. We were a party of nine and had the chance to sample almost everything on the menu like: The Smash Burger with homemade potato chips Lamb Ramen Grilled cabbage with rice Rib Eye Steak A very multi-ingrediant chicken dish that was superior Cantaloupe salad that was fantastic Salmon Poke that was original and tasty I going to say, everything was 5 Star! The reason I 'm giving these very nice and dedicated Chefs Students 4 Stars (which in itself is a very good rating) was because there were minor slip-ups that sort if glared at me and I couldn 't ignore them: Busing some plates while people at our table were still eating Outdoor dining at sunset and putting out candles when we were finishing up our dinner. I didn 't see my main course at all With our dinner reservation being at 8:00 and them closing at 9:00 feeling a bit Bum Rushed to leave so the staff could go home Even with these faux pas, the dinner, surroundings, and general experience of this dinner was great. These kids culinary students showed their Food Chops in the execution and delivery of some world class food. I would and will definitely come back!
