Vinoteka Wine - Heviz

Very negative experience. We were just walking down by the main street at the late hours, looking for a glass a wine and google showed that this place is still open. I saw that rating was low, and I was surprised WHY, because place looked very cozy, nice music. We 've been told to sit and wait. We were waiting for 15 mins, nothing happened, no wine list, no greeting or offering to drink anything. Then we tried to kindly ask for a wine list, bartender said angrily that he will come soon... A message to an owner I am not aware whether you are that bartender or not, whether you are tired or not, or whether you had anything bad happened in that day... I cannot know that and I don 't want to be honest. What I want as a customer is to enjoy my evening, and if I am going to the nice place I am ready to pay some extra for a the good atmosphere with nice people around. Otherwise, what 's the purpose of spending extra ? I can drink amazing wine at home and be very relaxed. If you are only one there or tired, get someone to work for you or to help part time, or if you cannot manage it in the certain day, at least PLEASE BE NICE with people around you and them frankly instead of being rude. Otherwise no one will come to visit you place. I would give this place a 1 star for a the cozy design, and location, otherwise I 'd give only a zero.

CAREFUL don't expose yourself in this place. The WORST service. The owner has been incredibly rude, and very aggressive behaviour since we entered the place. Not just with us but also with other customers. Unpleasant moments and the bad and stressed mood of the person created the worst experience, we left the place.

May God forgive you if you enter the door. There is an open sign next to the door as you can see from the photo. The rude owner will tell you to get out and take a seat on the patio though. We asked for a drink menu. He said he didn 't have one and that we should just know what we want. When I said exactly what I wanted (Cserszegi Bor) he became even more rude and went into a diatribe about how he knows everything about every Hungarian wine and every wine he sells is good because he purchased all of them. Well bravo my friend. You can taste fermented grapes and say wow my tongue likes that. And tell me, how are you supposed to know the prices if there is no menu? Is this even legal? He brought me a nice glass of Bezerics Cserszegi 2018 and charged me 1000HUF. I paid 620HUF only 1 hour earlier at Brix Bistro for the exact same glass. Please do not go here. Drinking wine should be enjoyable. The owner of this place makes sure it is not. Who knows why? He seems to be a very negative person and suffer from too much stress. It 's sad because the environment is pretty cool. Two stars for the good wine, cool patio and good jazz music. He ruined a beautiful evening for my wife and I. We will never go back. What a shame.

The owner of the place was serving people the night i went there. He was extremely rude with everyone, behaving in a way noone should in hospitality. We left without ordering after experiencing and shockingly observing his behaviour for 10minutes.

Cool little spot to enjoy some great regional wines. Our server, Petra, was great! She is very knowledgeable about the wines and a really nice person. We snacked on the fat bread which was delicious and saw most of the food at other tables. The servings are generous, especially the cheese platter. A real gem of a place in Hevis not to be missed. They do not open until 6pm but are open until midnight and closed on Sunday.
